Acceptance of Terms of Use

You agree that your use of the Online Ordering Web site (“Web site”) is subject to the following Terms of Use (“Terms”). It is important that you read all the Terms carefully. By accessing and using the Web site you accept to be bound by the Terms. Petro-Canada reserves the right to update the Terms at any time without notice. Acceptance of Petro-Canada’s Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

You agree that lubricants and other products you order via the Web site (“the Product”) shall be subject to and in accordance with the Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Ts&Cs") of Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc., or Petro-Canada America Lubricants Inc., or Petro-Canada Europe Lubricants Limited, as applicable (collectively "Petro-Canada"), which Ts&Cs are accessible via the links below, unless there is a written and currently valid agreement signed by you and Petro-Canada by which Petro-Canada agrees to sell, and you agree to purchase, the Product in accordance with specified terms and conditions.

Registration & Passwords

Using the Web site requires you to open an account. You must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You also will choose a password and a user name. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Petro-Canada immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Petro-Canada will not be liable for any loss you incur if someone else uses your password or account, with or without your knowledge. However, you may be held liable for losses incurred by Petro-Canada or another party, if someone else uses your account or password. You may not use anyone else's account or password at any time, without the permission of the account holder.

Petro-Canada has reasonable grounds to suspect that information you provide is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Petro-Canada has the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Web site. Petro-Canada’s use of any personally identifying information you provide as part of the registration process is governed by the terms of Petro-Canada’s Privacy Policy (see link below).

Online Commerce

The Web site allows you to purchase Petro-Canada Product and services online. Once you place your order, you will receive an online “ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT” and a follow-up email; however your order is not deemed to be accepted until we provide an “ORDER CONFIRMATION”. Products are subject to availability. Before we issue an Order Confirmation, Petro-Canada, shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to decline your order for any reason.

Participation Disclaimer

Petro-Canada reserves the right to block or remove orders or communications that it determines to be inappropriate, including, but not limited to, offensive, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or illegal.

Limitations of Liability

Petro-Canada does not accept any responsibility for any materials downloaded from this website, and Petro-Canada shall not be responsible or liable for any damages in connection with downloaded materials. Any material downloaded from this website is at the visitor’s own risk.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Web site is controlled by Petro-Canada from its offices in Ontario, Canada. By accessing or using the Web site, you agree that all matters relating to your access to, or use of, the Web site and/or the content shall be governed by the laws set out in the written agreement signed by you and Petro-Canada for the supply of Product, or the laws set out in the Ts&Cs specific to you and your purchase of Product, without regard to the conflict of laws principles thereof.
